Our conditioner builds on the shampoo's neutralization power with a richer, more emollient base designed for deep repair. The high-potency vitamin C acts as a potent antioxidant and reducing agent, safely breaking down residual chlorine and oxidants through a gentle redox reaction—converting them into harmless, rinse-away compounds. This happens quickly and effectively upon application, without the harshness of traditional clarifying or chelating treatments.

Water (Aqua) (Eau), Cetyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Behentrimonium Chloride, 3-Glyceryl Ascorbate, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Fragrance, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Amodimethicone, Trideceth-12, Cetrimonium Chloride, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium SorbateAcid
At the end of your shower, place a quarter sized amount of conditioner into the palm of your hand. Rub the conditioner between your palms and apply to your hair for 30 seconds. Vita C Condition works over time to help clarify and neutralize chlorine. Avoid eye contact; in the case of irritation; rinse thoroughly with water.

FAQs

How does Vita C® After Swim™ Shampoo Help Remove Chlorine and Other Pool Chemicals from Hair?
Vita C® After Swim™ Shampoo Our pH-balanced formula, powered by advanced Vitamin C (3-Glyceryl Ascorbate), gently neutralizes and removes stubborn chlorine and other harsh pool chemicals. It effectively eliminates the drying, damaging effects of pool water, leaving your hair feeling clean, soft, silky, and beautifully refreshed after every swim.
Is Vita C® After Swim™ safe for color-treated, bleached, or damaged hair?
Absolutely—it's gentle and free of harsh chemicals (unlike some clarifying shampoos). Vitamin C is a natural antioxidant that protects and repairs rather than stripping. It's especially beneficial for swimmers with color-treated hair, as it helps maintain vibrancy by removing oxidants that fade color faster.
Is Vita C® After Swim™ shampoo better than other chlorine-removing products?
Many traditional chlorine removers use thiosulfates or strong chelators, which can be harsher. Our patented vitamin C approach is gentler, antioxidant-rich, and naturally derived—neutralizing chlorine without stripping essential moisture or causing irritation.

moisturizing

I don't go to the pool often but when I do, I end up with tangled, stiff, dry hair every single time. I used this conditioner after a clarifying shampoo and it did a great job in moisturizing and detangling my hair after a swim. My hair looks as healthy as ever, and it smells amazing too.

Smooth and silky. Smells so good!

I’m really liking this conditioner! It leaves your hair soft and easy to get tangles out. My hair was not at all greasy after using this conditioner. It also smells great! I have bleach blonde hair and it didn’t make any brassiness worse. Definitely will not using this product!

Works great!

Chlorine tends to leave my locks feeling dry and brittle. This conditioner solves that problem. It nourishes my hair while getting all the chlorine out. I also really like how it smells. Definitely gives my hair life after long days at the pool.

I like this, alot!

I am reviewing the "C Vita Conditioner"I rather enjoy this alot, more than I expected to and I buy and test alot of haircare products! This comes in a pop top lid which makes accessing the conditioner easier... especially if you already have slippery hands from the conditioner but need a little more-which I always do!The smell smells like what it used to smell like to go tanning at the salon! It might still smell like that, but it's been a long time for me and this is VERY reminiscent of the coconut and "something" scent lol!The conditioner comes out in a thick looking little ribbon strip shape, but once you start to work with it-it gets very slippery and all over the place lol! I mean i can't turn my hands upside down with it on there (like you can with MANY other conditioners). But, it worked into the hair very nicely! And evenly! Smells great and does its job very well!I tested this on both my daughters hair and it worked wonderfully on both!I recommend this one!

Leaves hair feeling soft

The conditioner had a pleasant scent. It was thick and creamy. It came in a push top container. The conditioner smoothed on easily and washed out cleanly. It didn't weigh down my hair or leave it feeling greasy. My hair felt soft and smooth after using.

Really good summer conditioner

This conditioner is not only great for swimmer hair- to help with chlorine buildup and dryness, but great for hair that is getting dry and rough from being out in the sun.It moisturizes and softens my hair really well! My hair loves this stuff.I'm not a fan of the scent- it smells like suntan lotion to me, and I just don't like that scent, which some people do like it, but it's just a personal thing for me. But, thisis a great summer conditioner, and for the price, it's a really, really, nice conditioner.

Thinning hair see less shedding

I swim in my gym's pool regularly, and the Chlorine they use seem to cause my hair to dry out and shed more...and I cannot afford to lose more hair! C Vita Conditioner smells like coconut and I see less hairs in the drain when I rinse off. My hair looks fluffier/fuller when dry, but honestly I see similar results with most other conditioners, so not sure how special C Vita Conditioner really is...

Smells great works great

I regularly go to a pool spa that uses so much chlorine in their pools. Very relaxing for my muscles but not so much for my hair. I was excited to try this conditioner in hopes it would mitigate that damage and it worked very well! Normally my hair is CRISPY after the spa but this made it feel more or less normal! So happy. Also it smells amazing. The bottle is a decent size as well so you are sure to get plenty of use. It’s not a conditioner I will use every day either so that will prolong its life as well. Very very happy with this one!

Extremely easy to work through my long hair so I can massage it on my scalp and through my hair!

This conditioner smells like coconuts and it made my hair feel very soft with a lot of body. I have a lot of hair and I have to usually use a lot of condition to work through all of my hair but this one was really easy to distribute evenly without using a handful. It dispenses slower than the pumps on liter size bottles I use but that is good because I don't waste as much. If you are used to using a lot of conditioner, start with less while using this product because less goes further than some of my conditioners . I always want the scent of my hair products to linger after I've dried and styled my hair and this one does. Finally, sometimes I have quite a bit of hair fallout in the shower drain and there wasn't even one hair after I finished my shower and returned to clean my hair out of the drain. This is an excellent product and it works really well for my processed hair.

This conditioner works really well!

Terrific on dry, damaged hair. I spend a lot of time swimming and hate to wear a swimming cap so my hair is really a mess. This is the only conditioner I've used that makes my hair feel silky and manageable--from the very first time I used it! No one has paid me to say this: "I love it."

Healthy. Removes chlorine and other toxins.

Friend of mine bought some retail and raved about it, has lots of pharmaceutical grade Vitamin C. It has nice texture and good smell, light mango-citrus? YUKA score is green for healthy ingredients.

Best Swimmer Conditioner

This is an excellent conditioner for swimmers. It prevents tangles very well, and promotes healthy hair. We been using this for over a year and you can’t even tell we have a competitive swimmer in the family.
