Vita C® After Swim™ Shampoo

I had no idea that there was a product that removes the chlorine smell from your body and hair. It had a nice smell to it. It’s labeled as a shampoo but it can used on your body as well! Must have after swimming!

This shampoo works well to cleanse hair, without using a ton of product. It doesn’t lather up much, but it does the job of getting hair clean without leaving any greasy residue. It left my hair soft and moisturized- I didn’t even use a conditioner, and it still left my hair feeling quite soft and light. We do have a lot of chlorine in our tap water, because it is sanitized river water. However, I didn’t notice that this shampoo did any better or worse job of taking out the chlorine than any other shampoo. I haven’t had the opportunity to use this shampoo after going in a pool, yet. This shampoo doesn’t have much of a scent, and it didn’t leave much scent on my hair- it just had kind of a clean smell, so if you don’t love strong, artificial odors, this would be a good choice for you. Overall, this shampoo worked well to cleanse my hair with a minimum of effort and product used. The lid does come loose very easily, though, which can cause the shampoo to leak out, so be aware of that, and make sure to store it in an upright position.

Swim shampoo can be hard to find at my local stores, so I was happy to see this online. This shampoo works well for removing the chlorine from my daughter's long hair after her swim team practice. It has a nice scent, lathers well, and leaves her hair soft. The price does seem high though, in comparison to similar shampoos I’ve bought in the past.

While lathering my hair with this shampoo, I can tell it is a deep cleaning type of product. It leaves my hair slightly tangly, but very clean feeling. After drying my hair, it feels soft and light. I’m happy with the results.

I’ve been using this after swimming in my pool and I’m very happy so far. It removes the chlorine smell from my hair, and also leaves it feeling soft and shiny. Chlorine tends to dry out my hair and thus has really been helping. It also smells nice!

Love the Vita-C products! I’m in the pool several times a week, and my hair has never looked better! Highly recommend!

I was expecting this shampoo to be harsh on the hair, but it didn't seem so. We use it after swim lessons. I don't know if this removes chlorine any better than a regular shampoo, but it seems like a good shampoo, so we will use it regularly as indicated. It's a great option and my daughter likes the scent, too!

What I liked:First, and simply put, I like that this C Vita shampoo does just what it says it will! It cleans your hair AND removes the presence of chlorine! It just works! I love the scent, how it leaves hair feeling after using it, and the shine it provides as well. Really couldn't be any happier!What I did not like:Honestly no complaints here - love this for post-swim washes!Overall:5 stars for an effective fix to that annoying chlorine scent that lingers in hair!

My hair does not feel like straw after I swim anymore.

This shampoo is great as just a regular shampoo but the additional benefits are great. The whole idea behind just getting chlorine salt out of your hair is awesome. Unfortunately it's winter when I'm testing this, but I'm extremely looking forward to trying it again in summer so when I'm done in the pool I'll be able to clean up and not deal with that chlorine smell at all in my hair afterwards. The scent on this is extremely fruity and pleasing. The bottle also said it could be used as a body wash if needed, but I'll most definitely be saving it as a hair product.

This is by far the best swimmer shampoo on the Market. I am a masters swimmer and swim 5 days a week. Pharmaceutical-grade vitamin C as an anti-oxidant removes the main Oxidant which is chlorine. Smells excellent. High Yuka Score. Vitamin C enriched.

This is the second bottle of this shampoo for my daughter, who has long thick curly hair, and this will not be the last! She uses this shampoo and the conditioner and detangler after every swim practice, and her hair has never felt or smelled better! She is able to independently brush her hair with this product, so I will never be without again!

My daughter and I swim nearly every day and use Vita-C Shampoo, Conditioner and Lotion after every swim. We both are prone to eczema and are very cautious when choosing skin and hair care products. Vita-C is a product we both can use with confidence, knowing that our hair and skin will feel clean and healthy. We highly recommend Vita-C products!

This is an excellent shampoo for swimmers. It prevents tangles very well, and promotes healthy hair. We been using this for over a year and you can’t even tell we have a competitive swimmer in the family. Prevents damage and last a decent amount of time when used appropriately. A bottle last about three months.
